About Our Pilots
Ken Wittekiend, Jr.
Ken Wittekiend is a professional instrument flight instructor, aircraft owner and founder of ProMark Aviation Services, a Flight training company based in Burnet, Texas.
Ken is a commercial pilot with over 11,000 hours of experience is a wide variety of general aviation aircraft. Ken has flown as a charter pilot, and flight instructor since 1974. Last year, Ken was selected as the Flight Instructor of the Year for the FAA Southwest Region.
During Hurricane Katrina, Ken and his fellow pilot, Pat Shaub, flew over 50 hours of relief missions, transporting supplies and personnel into Louisiana and Mississippi. That experience made Ken realize the importance and value of GA aircraft and pilots in disaster relief efforts.
Ken and his wife Judy live along with two sons, three dogs, multiple cats and two airplanes on 9 acres under the approach to runway 01 at the Burnet Texas municipal airport (BMQ).

Curt Dimmick
Curt Dimmick is a private pilot and a former student of Ken Wittekiend. Starting in aviation in his mid 30's Curt quickly emersed himself in everything aviation. Since obtaining his private pilot certificate Curt has flown a number of different aircraft and continues to embrace the challenge and excitement provided through aviation. Having the opportunity to utilize a unique skill to help people in a very hands on and direct way fuels his continued and growing passion for aviation.
Curt resides in Kingsland, Texas with his wife Kathy, his two children 4 and 6 and two lazy ol' yellow dogs.
